I am a designer, builder and researcher of social, ubiquitous and urban computing systems. My research explores and challenges prevailing notions of hyper-local urban communities in the age of social and ubiquitous computation. I'm a computer scientist at SCS@CMU, currently in the last year of my PhD.
I'm often inspired by: music, design, architecture, human-computer interaction, people, coffee, machine learning, photography, engineering, and long walks in great cities. When I'm lucky, sometimes this shows through my work.
